We're really trying to make sure they're getting as much attention as we can give 'em. They look so sad, though! I'll just have to think of something to cheer 'em up :) Maybe their own special playtime!
Dinner
For dinner I tried to make a creamy leek tilapia recipe, but I'm going to have to play with it a bit because the leeks came out too mushy! I'll let you know how the next batch turns out.I also made my first orzo batch. I used my mother-in-law's recipe, but it didn't come out quite as I thought. It may have needed more tomatoes. I'll post a recipe for that as soon as I get it just right. We also had some steamed asparagus.
For a late dessert, I made myself a bowl of steel-cut oats, strawberries, Hershey's unsweetened chocolate and 2 tsp of agave nectar. I really like this combo :)
