My Food Diary

Ok, so in an effort to get into the habit of writing, I'mm adding a new feature to my site: my food diary!

I've been a calorie counter since high school, I believe.  Sometimes I'm really strict and write everything down in my little green book, other times I just count everything in my mind.  I've been reading other people's food diary blogs and they just look like they eat so healthy, so I decided to try it myself.

I wonder if posting the actual pictures of the food I consume will change the way I eat?  I think yes. Today was the first day I started taking pictures, and wouldn't you know it, I had a good day!

I cut back on sugar, and will continue my crusade to bring that down again. In the past, I've tried to cut back and have been successful for a couple of days. Then, all I can think about is opening my sugar container and eating it by the spoonfuls. It has that much of an impact on me.

Although I was not successful, the experiment did lower my level of what I considered sweet. So instead of 2 Splenda packet's in my coffee, it went down to 2 tablespoons of sugar.

So lets see how round 2 of me vs sugar goes???
