Somebody’s got a case of the Mondays. A bad one too. Boo!!!
I tried going to sleep last night around 10:30 and I just couldn’t go to sleep. I tried and tried and the Lightning Bug just wasn’t working as fast as it normally does. I think I finally dozed off around midnight, but baby Brielle started cooing around 1 then went back to sleep. She did the same around 4 am, but then went back to sleep. At least I didn’t have to actually get up! My baby is making progress, let’s hope that keeps up :)
I also managed to get up and have a great weights workout this morning. Lifting weights is so empowering.
I started off with a 10 minute jump rope session, which is CRAZY to even attempt for someone as coordinated as yours truly. I got through it, though :) Then I went through this FitSugar Full Body Circuit. Originally I was going to do 5 minutes of jump rope from set to set, but ended up only doing one more jump rope session. I also repeated the sets three times instead of two and added a couple of exercises for the back because it’s been killing me lately.
Overall a great workout and it gave me a great energy rush – hopefully I don’t crash in 5 minutes.
So the posts on Mondays are going to be focused on my upcoming weekly fitness & nutrition goals.

Let’s see how I do this week. I’m usually pretty good Monday’s, Tuesdays & Wednesdays. The real test comes on Thursday when I tell myself I can always workout on Sunday and then never do so. I’m prepping for that by having specially-themed blogs to address this problem and hopefully that helps.
I haven’t been taking pictures so here’s a random picture. I was picking up some tips from Rocky to own my Mondays!!
I know, random and that was an ultra-weak jab at tying the pic into the post! Weak!
